One of the best things you can do with your kids when you visit a National Park is participate in the Junior Ranger program. There are over 300 different Junior Ranger badges and patches that can be earned. This program is designed to engage kids in the National Park experience. Most of the parks offer a program and the activities are age appropriate for kids from 4-13. The workbooks are available at the visitor center and are a great way to share the details of the National Park with your kids.
