Of the many places I’ve been, Mount Rushmore is the most interesting place. It has many facts, trails, and history. One trail you should try is the Presidents Trail. It takes you to the bottom of the sculpture. You should also visit at night to see the Lighting Ceremony. Before the auditorium you will walk through all the flags of all the states. I learned some of the facts about some states like when the state became a state and what is on its flag. You could also go to a place where they have a model of Mount Rushmore. A Park Ranger explains how Mount Rushmore was made. On the way there may be people sculpting all sorts of things from different types of rocks. Kids can go there to become Junior Rangers. Being a Junior Ranger means you are a caring person for the Earth. If you want be a Junior Ranger go into the gift shop and ask a Park Ranger for a booklet and have fun exploring Mount Rushmore National Park.
